Tumalog falls is located in Oslob Cebu, just few minutes away from the Whale Shark watching point in Oslob. It is called by the enthusiasts the “Gossamer Waterfall” since it is very silky and very light, resembling a gauze-like fabric descending down and transforming into a basin of water. Others describe it as a ‘white horsehair, noting the resemblance of the water flow to a horse’s tail.  The Tumalog falls has also been described as a ‘white curtain’ covering the wall of rocks in the forest or series of umbrellas hanging by the rock walls. Tumalog Waterfalls is enveloped and protected by century-old trees, bamboo trees and other endemic plants in the area.
