Simala Shrine

Monastery of the Holy Eucharist, popularly known as Simala Shrine or Simala Church, is a castle-like church located in Marian Hills of upper Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga, Cebu.  The monastery is famous for its castle-like picturesque architecture drawing many local and foreign tourists. It was built in 1998 by the Marian Monks after the occurrence of several miraculous events, including that of Mama Mary’s shedding of tears.  The church is very popular among believers and devotees who frequent the shrine hoping that their prayer requests will be granted. Many of these devotees have miracle stories of their own. These stories are documented at the church and stored in several glass cabinets located by the exit from the shrine. Please explore all the destinations included in our packages in the menu  on the left.
