Pescador Island

Pescador Island is located in the Tañon Strait, a few kilometers from the western coast of Cebu and is governed by the municipality of Moalboal. The name Pescador is derived from the former Spanish Colonial heritage, the abundance of fish living on the surrounding coral reefs and the many fishermen that fish them ("pescador" means "fisherman" in Spanish).  The giant sardine balls which can be observed by both divers and snorkelers made Pescador world famous. The island is considered a world-class dive site due to protected corals and marine species. It offers two distinct fantastic dive sites. One on the Northeast side and another one on the Southwest side. The Southwest side is locally known as the Cathedral for its beautiful soft coral garden. Turtles are also found in this spot. Our Pescador island hopping tour will let you swim and admire beautiful corals, sea fans, a frog fish and a school of jacks. This trip also includes swimming with the turtles and sardines run near Panagsama beach. Please explore all the destinations included in our packages in the menu  on the left.
